Clem Ali

Clem graduated from Bath Spa University (2022) studying Graphic Communication with a focus on Illustration. She explores drawing in her sketchbooks using pencil, fineliners, and watercolours to bring her illustrations to life. As well as this, she also creates digitally on her IPad wherever she goes.

Places, people + patterns. The recurring themes of her illustrations. Through detail and shape, she enjoys drawing what comes to mind as well as what's in front of her eyes.

 

Travel is another vital source of inspiration within her artwork. It depicts the theme of escapism, where the greatest sense of escapism is present. On her travels, she is constantly drawing from her experiences of different cultures.
